April 1, 2024 - Unfortunately, the half bottle I left overnight after air evacuation, did not survive very well. So, drink within a few hours of opening. Initially, high levels of taking were evident with coconut being prevelent on the palate accompanied by lesser amounts of strawberry. The second day experience was that of low fruit not offsetting the tannin and acidity. Not a great experience. My 88 was based on the first day experience.

May 16, 2021 - A sleeper of a wine. It's simple, in a good way. Hints of green pepper on the nose, with strawberry on the entry. Smooth and easy drinking - if more wineries made their Carmenere like this it would be a far more popular varietal.

Had with a Montes Alpha Carmenere - the Montes Alpha had a more pronounced green pepper vibe to it, was spicier - overall, it was also very good. But for a full glass (or bottle if that's more your style) I would go with the Lariana.

May 19, 2020 - Last bottle, it plumped up a bit since the last bottle I had and really liked it. Too bad that is the end of that vintage...

December 23, 2019 - Fantastic nose of ripe raspberries and blackberries, and a touch of meatiness. Soft mid-palette, perhaps a bit too soft, and it’s only shortcoming. Stewed fruits and oak on the medium length finish. Solid but it has dropped off from when I first tasted it.
