June 27, 2020 - Deep purplish ruby red. Well rounded nose with espresso, caramel, cedar, cinnamon, blueberries and some sweet tobacco. A hint of bacon too. Medium to medium plus body with medium tannins (6.5/10). A bit of heat on the palate with dark black berries, leather, baking spices and some cola. Long finish. Drink till 2030.

June 13, 2020 - Delicious, in a kind of explosive way... Improved after being shaken up in the bottle a few times. Probably way too young... Seemed a little one-dimensional, but perhaps it needs quite a few more years in the bottle.

April 17, 2020 - Can imagine this is not to everyone’s taste, but if you want a silky burst of plum that’s loaded up on alcohol and with enough structure to hold together, this is for you. Inky purple. Strong aromatics on the nose; plum syrup, boysenberry, hints of black pepper, hints of black cherries. Round, lush, full bodied wine, with enough structure to avoid been syrupy. Loads of plum, black currant, black cherry. Med tannins balance the fruit. Alcohol through the roof (16.5%), but overall maintains balance.

February 14, 2020 - Huge step up aromatically over Gigglepot/Blue Eyed Boy. Deep blueberry and black raspberry. Unctuous. The viscosity of motor oil. 93

February 12, 2020 - Too young but nonetheless a very good wine which will score higher in years to come. This is a big and bold wine. Slightly unbalanced but that's normal with such a young wine. Looking forward to trying it again in 5 years.
