February 27, 2021 - I got this puppy on release, stored perfectly, and currently tasting fab! Tons o cherries on the initial nose which fade with decaying; don’t forgo tasting it right out of the bottle; cherries plums and some wood in the palate, a minute or more finish; very happy with this; got two more, will plan on drinking in two and 8 years.

August 15, 2017 - A solid Côte-Rôtie, though it's time to drink this now. When I first opened this, the nose was pretty nonexistent. After a decant and hour of aeration, it definitely opened up a bit and improved. Straightforward on the palate. Lacking a bit of concentration. Overall drinking well but definitely not a show-stopper. Drink now if you have this. But if this hasn't been properly stored, I can see some bottles not showing well.

August 8, 2016 - Another fruitless, slightly necrotic bottle.

November 3, 2015 - Red fruit (slightly muted), nice acidity, some spice. Good finish. A bit reserved but enjoyable. Acidity more pronounced on 2nd night.

(Guy Bernard Côte-Rôtie) Dark red violet color; nice dried berry, subtle herbs, garrigue, tart black fruit nose with a touch of menthol; maturing, solid, tart black fruit, garrigue, charcoal palate; medium-plus finish
