September 20, 2023 - Comte de Vogue Tasting with Jean Luc Pepin (London, 19 September 2023): This was the strongest of the Bonnes Mares lineup and had nicely sculpted fruit and mineral with some emerging gameyness. Maybe in several years this will reach the level of the Musigny and Amoureuses of the same vintage which are already open for business at this stage. 93-94

August 31, 2023 - From magnum. After being opened for three hours, the wine finally revealed why it is such a great Grand Cru terroir. Perfect balance and poise with Grand Cru punch. Sensational wine. Freightening to think this wine from the tannic 1993 vintage in magnum format has still not peaked. My guess is from 35 to 50 years this wine will be something truely profound. Great tonight but took a long time to reveal itself. Worth the wait!

Tar, violet, red berries, smooth, Tannins soft and still with a Refreshing acidity. I had no idea for site and vintage. at his Peak. 93 -

March 9, 2020 - Pretty wine. Sour cherry, some flowers and a touch of chocolate. More open than the musigny served alongside but still has a long way to go.
