  May 14, 2020 - A friend asked me to taste this. After having the Pin, this is a much humbler wine. Back to earth, as some would say. Pure fruit on the nose but this is not a fruit bomb by any stretch. It does smell like Rioja, with a polished texture but it lacks fault. Funny but yeah, it feels concocted. I am sure many would like this. It's kind of flawless at the price-point. You can't really ask for much more. I'd take it over 90% of cheap malbec out there.

  November 22, 2019 - A straightforward wine with a subdued red fruit nose and taste, and a soft, dry feel in the mouth. It's very drinkable and would be a crowd pleaser. It's not up to the quality or complexity I'd expect in an 89 - 90 rated wine, but it's very good for the price and would certainly serve it at a reception or cookout.

  December 12, 2018 - This bottle might not be an 89 to everyone, but it worked for me because my husband loved it. (He is partial to Granache.) I definitely got strawberry notes on the tongue and fruit and cigars on the nose. Fresh without tasting too young. Great price for an everyday wine.
