August 22, 2022 - Very accomplished this. Ticks all the boxes for me concentration, aromatics, fine tannin etc. but the standout is the gorgeous minerality on the finish. Lovely stuff.

June 2, 2021 - This is moving towards interesting. I was critical when I tried this early 2020, but not critical now. It’s full body, dark concentrated mouthfeel, yet has intriguing lifting minerality, wet stone and violets. Fruit is forward but not overtly dominating nor sweetly cloying but playing a supporting role to the delicate tannins with length on the finish. It’s a lovely hearty winter wine.

September 23, 2019 - Chocolate, cherry, pinch of herbs, smooth tannin, classic modern Barossa. Could lay it down a bit longer too.

June 27, 2019 - 2 weeks in Australia with a stopover in Singapore; 6/14/2019-7/1/2019 (Singapore, Sydney, Adelaide, McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills): Tasted at the winery. All old vine Shiraz. Some reduction on the nose. A very powerful and concentrated, fruit forward style - freshness is there in the sappy fruit, but at this young age it is all about the berries. This one will need quite a bit of cellar time to bring out the complexities.
