April 29, 2024 - Pnp, deep flavors of red and black fruit. Very smooth and well integrated tannins. No noticible flaws at all, just flowed so effortlessly over the palate which was the most notable characteristic. Not very complex, finish was not notable. This was my last 2016, better try a 2017 soon, probably near or past the end of its prime drinking window also.

March 16, 2024 - 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Event (Minneapolis, MN): One of the better wines at this tasting. While a little hot up front that blew off. Cherry, dark chocolate, plum, spices, floral and earth. Drinking really well now and this did not get any air prior to sampling. 92+
