Community Tasting Notes 2

October 7, 2020 - Pale Gold. Medium minus aromas of yellow apple, white nectarine, butterscotch, bread dough, caramel, blossom. On the palate the wine is dry with medium plus acidity, medium body, medium alcohol and medium flavor intensity with yellow apple, white nectarine, butterscotch, bread dough, caramel, blossom. The finish is medium minus, disappointingly short. Other: creamy texture. The wine is good with aromas of tree fruit, stone fruit, aromas of lees aging and also some tertiary aromas (butterscotch, caramel). The intensity rises on the palate to medium. However, the acidity is not balanced by the fruit nature and the finish is disappointingly short. Tasty now, and should be fine in the cellar another 2-3 yrs with more complex aromas.

June 12, 2020 - Lovely. An acidity and bouquet beyond most Riesling wines.
