August 1, 2020 - Atypical for being SB but typical for being Goisot who manage to keep the vegetal tones down.

June 5, 2020 - A biodynamic Sauvignon Blanc from the lieux-dits of Cornevin, Cote de la Canne and La Roncie. 50% of the vines are 10-15 years old and 50% are 15-40 years in age. Vinified at cold temperatures in stainless steel vats using native yeasts and aged on its fine lees in stainless steel. 12,7% alcohol.

Pale lemon-yellow color with faint greenish highlights. Ripe, juicy and fruit-driven nose without any of the vegetal qualities normally associated with Sauvignon. Aromas of golden apples, ripe quince, some waxy tones, a little bit of tangerine, light grassy tones and a hint of sweet white peach. The wine is lively, firm and light-to-medium-bodied on the palate with a ripe yet dry flavors of fresh golden apples, some quince, a little bit of star fruit, light wild waxy tones, a hint of ripe white peach and a touch of dried herbs. The fruit declines towards the sweeter end of the spectrum as the wine opens up in the glass, but never loses its freshness. Bright, racy acidity. The finish is crisp, ripe and fruit-driven with quite long, vibrant flavors of steely minerality, some waxy tones, a little bit of sweet golden apple, light tangy notes of lemony citrus fruits, a hint of white peach and a touch of tangerine.

A tasty, poised and wonderfully fruity Sauvignon that remains very fresh and light on its feet despite the ripeness. Lacking the herbaceous edge of Sauvignon Blanc, making this feel very atypical from what I've used to - not that I mind, since I've never been a fan of aggressively vegetal Sauvignons. Not the most complex white wine out there, but a very pleasant and thoroughly drinkable effort all the same. Terrific value at 13€.

July 12, 2019 - Very interesting to taste a Saint-Bris, I find this a lot different from other Sauvignons from around the world. On the nose, I got aromas of mandarin, tropical fruit and peaches, loads of aromatics. The palate is soft amd round with delicate textures of citrus and stone fruit, less minerality that I was expecting, based on the soil type. This is a burgundy take on a Sauvignon Blanc
