July 22, 2019 - Nice Yakima Valley cab featuring 100% cabernet, very lush, Boushey vineyard fruit! Decanted 3+ hours. Jammy blackberry, anise, lightly toasted oak and a touch of baking spice on the nose. Nicely balanced with medium acidity and supple tannins complementing a pleasingly fruit-forward opening that dances to the back of the palate for a medium-long finish. Drinking surprisingly well (July 2019) — more rounded and less tight than similarly priced Red Mountain cabs at this age. Salute!
