  August 24, 2020 - - Brick color with slow forming legs and aromas of black pepper, raspberry, black currant, cedar and smokey. It's balanced and has flavours of cherry, smokey and black pepper with a medium/full body. Round texture with a long finish.

  February 17, 2020 - A big zin (but then they are all big for the most part), with plenty of spice to go with the fruit and high alcohol. Well balanced, which sets it apart from a lot of zins I have tried as of late

  February 14, 2020 - At Martinelli today, nose of red cherry, black cherry, plum, and allspice, same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty, mouth filling fruit, better in 2 years, with a decant-enjoy tonight, and a medium/long finish.

  December 21, 2019 - Cherry on the nose, overripe plum on the palate, and a thin, acrid, cough-syrup finish. Disappointing, since I’ve enjoyed many past vintages of this wine. It used to be a reliable, lighter Zinfandel.
