January 11, 2020 - A blend of 55% syrah, 35% grenache and 10% mourvedre grown on brown schist. The syrah and mourvedre spent 14 months in barrels (25% new) and the grenache was aged in vats.

Very fruit driven at this early stage with the mourvedre making itself known. Fairly tannic with good acidity, full body and a medium finish. We drank this with fried up spagbol leftovers and they went very well together.

A lovely wine from this Pierre Galliard estate in SW France and excellent QPR.
