February 5, 2024 - Nez sur la pomme verte puis plus mûre, poire avec de la largeur. Bouche très dynamique avec de la matière, un fond sur les fruits blancs et une bulle fine

September 8, 2023 - The Arbour with Your Highness: This was a very fun bottle. Brioche, yellow and white fruit, crushed vitamins, and a pink bubble gum note. High acid, good balance, and generous as expected with the vintage.

July 13, 2022 - This is very much in the dry, bruised apple, savory, somewhat charmless style of Marguet. I used to hate this style, nothing for beginners, but now I can accept it. Make sure you have food with this.

May 26, 2022 - Tasting with Benoit Marguet (in Ambonnay at the winery): Tasted alongside the 2012 Sapience. I think I am preferring this 2009. Both are 10 years on the lees, from three fruit sources (Laval from Cumières, Leclapart from Trépail and Lahaye from Bouzy). The 2009 seems more brighter and intense than the 2012, and notably this is three years older. Slate and citrus, and even with air and warmth, it fills in with a lemon and red berry compote, pineapple and a lurking generosity. This really needed air and the lifting of the temperature to unfold.

December 31, 2021 - These bottles were all so bad. Maybe they are fragile, or someone sold me a bad four pack. Yucky crap to be sure!
