May 10, 2023 - A nice chard with crisp white fruit, citrus notes, minerals with good acidity and nice finish.

January 23, 2023 - This is more like it! When I had this previously (12/31/20, 89 points), I noted that the structure was far in front of the fruit, but the one glass I still had left on the third night showed great promise. Now, with a bit more than an hour of air, the promise is fulfilled: a really impressively built—still—chard with racy acidity and surprisingly potent tannins joined by far more vibrant fruit with delightful sweet-savory notes. Held strong over 3 nights, so while I’m not sure that there’s much more upside, this should have several years of high quality drinking at this level. Notably balanced and elegant, this works equally well as a food wine—with both stuffed pasillas and chicken soup—and on its own. Would buy again and will keep an eye out for the BC SVD chards. Well done and recommended. 92-93+

August 26, 2022 - Creamed corn nose on initial impression that develops into a creamy, luscious chardonnay. Great acid with a little tannic drying. Muted pineapple , persistent aftertaste. Lovely

June 17, 2022 - A nice nose with a little bit of apple and pear. It really has a nice feel to it. A little sweet on the taste with a nice thick feel that finshes smooth and sweet.

    Tasted non blind.

Yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of talc, lemon, yellow pear and yellow apple. Flavors of lemon, cherry and green apple. Medium acidity, full bodied. Drink over the short term, maybe into the next 3+ years.
