Community Tasting Notes 2

January 15, 2019 - Medium dusty-cherry color. Nice nose of allspice, cherry, earth tones and a touch of iodine. Medium-light on the palate, with cherry flavors and herbal notes. Flavors seem uncomplicated and quaffable, with a juicy acid balance. Fast finish. Pleasures and pitfalls of natural winemaking.

December 6, 2018 - Smelled of apple roasted with cinnamon and nutmeg, pomegranate and fruit leather with lilac, sweet pipe tobacco, green tea and licorice. The mouth exploded with bright cherry, mixed brambly berry and very ripe peach skin with cola, chalky cocoa, almond skin, wood smoke and menthol. Middle weight OK acid and firm tannin.

Bright, fresh maybe could have used a bit more acid, but still nice wine and fun to drink in mouth fulls not sips.
