    January 22, 2024 - Solid wine - PNP
Classic Italian with earth and tannin but soft enough to drink now
Very pleasant in color and smell
    Buy again

March 20, 2023 - Deep dark purple in the glass. Looks like a Bordeaux or Cali Cab. Early on it was bright and fruit forward but after several hours it changed to an aged grape smell profile of stewed prunes with smoked meats and tobacco elements. I liked it better early in the night rather than later.

February 21, 2023 - Monthly Tuesday group "The Dead Sparrow": Vino Nobili di Montepulciano (@ The factory by JdB): Herbs, cherries, earth, smoke and cherries in the slightly dusty bouquet. On the palate red berries, cherries and some sweet spices and chocolate. A firm dose of juicy acidity and slightly sticky tannin. The wine develops in the glass. Has a future of at least 5+ years.

July 17, 2022 - One hour double decant. Bright ruby color, with slightly faded rusty rim. Bing cherry, powdered sugar, old fashioned donut, and bay leaf on the nose. Smooth, tongue drying palate. Firm, full, lower intensity tannins on the longish finish.

Very nice drinker. Surprisingly “new world” in its fruit forwardness.

May 20, 2022 - 30 min double decant. Very deep ruby color, with a bit of rim fade. Girl Scout Thin Mints, red licorice, cassis, and cherry on the nose. Smooth, tongue drying palate, with nice acidity. Firm tannins on the longish. This was better than I expected and could be even better with a two hour decant.
