June 8, 2014 - I got lucky forgetting about this wine
It has aged nicely but still crisp with excellent ripe fruit
A very pretty bottle and a treat after all the premox

October 18, 2013 - Very nice. Surprisingly youthful and should easily hold a few more years although I don't think its going to improve any more. Crisp, balanced.

October 17, 2013 - Not particularly complex, but balanced and enjoyable. Holding up well.

April 5, 2013 - Bill's Monthly Lunch - April 2013 (Vancouver, BC): Tasted blind – Riper nose, almost a hint of honey, with minerality and orchard fruits. Weighty on the palate but with good acidity and a fresh finish. There’s a nice bit of tension on the palate too. This didn’t immediately strike me as chard but made perfect sense once it was revealed. Very good.

August 30, 2011 - Really fresh - even with a hint of free sulpher!?!?!?

(SOUFRANDIERE Les Quarts) Spatlese/L'Ermita/Leoville Las Cases Dear Friends, Parcels continue to arrive in the warehouse (this is the season for deliveries to us as well as to you) so here you go - fresh off the boat. All have just arrived with impeccable provenance (this is not a pre-arrival): 2007 Selbach-Oster Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Spètlese EXTREMELY LIMITED Delightful, pungent and full flavored for a 2007 - a wine with a long life ahead of it - should age very well, up to 15-20 years. An outright bargain for 2007 Spatlese. 2005 Leoville Las Cases 1.5lt(WS100) This set of magnums is directly from Bordeaux - it is as close to cellar-direct as I can muster. 2005 Soufrandiere Pouilly-Vinzelles "Les Quarts" (BH90-92 - Outstanding!) - as good as it gets in the Macon? 2002 Palacios L'Ermita (Priorat) Thank you, Jon Rimmerman Garagiste Seattle, WA spain9876 burg3498 bord4599 germ4788
