May 21, 2020 - This wine fell short for us. Decanted the first bottle for 15 minutes. After tasting, we decanted for another 20 minutes. We dumped it and opened a second bottle. Same issue. It is a bold wine with soft tannins, but failed to provide the fruit and spice structure that it claimed to have.
It may be good for some college kids trying to catch a buzz, but this vintage passed it's peak. -

May 19, 2020 - Big bold and full of Dark Cherry and stewed plum with hints of peppery spice. Soft tannins and medium acidity. Finish is long and extends the big bold fruit flavours. Needs a big earthy steak - a solid red.

June 22, 2019 - Quite a lot of everything. Big black fruit (currant), oak and spice, substantial chewy tannins. Modern style, for sure. In my view, on the mark for the style: not overly ponderous and not raisiny. Not an easy drinker, though in a fairly crowd-pleasing style.
