August 9, 2007 - Good value for the money. The Syrah dominates in this 50/50 blend, with rich blackberry fruits. It is hot to begin with, but with an hour of air and consumed from the Riedel Syrah glass (as opposed to the Cab glass), it softens to reveal cherry, licorice and even tobacco. A great party wine.
