November 8, 2020 - This is a solid effort. Loads of cherry and smoke on the nose and palate. Terrific finish. Worth seeking out.

October 12, 2019 - - Crimsom color - 10/11/19 with pork shoulder steak grilled over red oak. This really opened up after an hour or more and I should have decanted this wine. Aromatically this was pretty with dark red and blue fruits savory floral notes and earth. On the pallet consistent with aromatics it had medium intensity medium body silky tannins, restrained oak, medium plus length and seem to be in a nice zone for drinking but probably could have benefited from another couple of years. Much more interesting/ enjoyable after an hour, plus of air.

    October 3, 2019 - brief notes, Armit at Claridge's

New World style, very well-made; plenty of concentration; soft tannins; good fruit profile, ends off-dry.

VFM? RRP £55.00.....not a bargain, feels like £40

August 2, 2019 - Clear medium ruby. Clean nose of medium intensity. Aromas red currant, nutmeg, sweet spice, flint, hint of vanilla. Wine is developing. On the palate it is dry, medium plus acidity, medium minus tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium plus flavor intensity of red cherry, mint, green leaf, flint. Finish is medium plus. Very good wine, drink now. Can age further 5 plus years
