August 19, 2007 - hanging on by a thread. Strong earth and mushroom rise off of the red tinted brown wine. A faint hint of sweetness ( fruit) is still there. The acid still keeps the wine fresh and believe it or not a little tannic grip and a hint of sour cherry. Finish is surprisingly long for a wine this far past.
