June 26, 2023 - Delicious. Still fresh 6 years in. Green apples and blossom on the nose, colour straw not yet the golden colour of aging chardonnay. Zingy acid cutting through the vanilla and honeysuckle. Surprisingly the wine of the night in that it was against a '15 Leeuwin AS and '16 Flowstone Queen of the Earth - both spectacular in their own right. One more left in the stash - looking forward to that in a year or so.

January 17, 2022 - Just starting to develop.

Nutty, honeyed and pastry notes go with the ripe lemon and peach. Delicious balance, just enough reductive notes to make it snappy and exciting and well integrated oak.

May 14, 2020 - Beautifully round, mouth filling, classic Margs chardonnay. Value is absolutely there and the only thing you might want for is a slightly more prominent acid line to push it closer to top marks.

Given my experience with the best of this region, this has now become my go to when i want a classic, expertly made chardonnay from WA. At half the price (or better) than the Art Series and Kevin Johns of the world, this is a no brainer.

August 11, 2019 - Stone fruit, nutty, creamy, great intensity and length. Plenty of acidity to keep that creaminess in check. Balanced perfectly with nothing sticking out and plenty of interest.

December 7, 2018 - Standard MR Chard done well - just quite oaky. Solid, but ultimately a little uninteresting
