    April 2, 2023 - Tasted over 2 hrs
    -translucent light-med gold
-slightly sweet honeyed ripe pear wet stone
-med/med+ acidity, med weight slightly honeyed yellow fruit shell up front yields to a long sappy minerally saline faintly caramel finish, trace oxidation
-good complexity and on mature plateau with a hint of excessive oxidation

August 30, 2022 - Moderate oak, crisp, paired nicely with grilled chicken kabobs. All 4 of us liked it, including the non-chardonnay drinkers.

  • Bwalter17 Likes this wine: 90 points

September 27, 2021 - Silky mouthfeel, with lemon curd, butterscotch, thyme and sage.

October 30, 2020 - A weekend in Sonoma, Act I-Littorai, Copain, Red Car (Sonoma County, California, USA): Nose: The nose is upfront and friendly with pears, baked apples, melon notes, peaches, nougat, nectarine, vanilla, creams, and yogurt. Where this has nice and upfront fruit, it somewhat lacks depth and the malo notes dominate over the fruit.

Taste: The feel is full bodied with medium acidity. There is a richness to the feel with baked apples, melon tones, peaches, nougat, vanilla, creams, and pears.

Overall: This is a good and easy drinking Chardonnay. It shows a good amount of upfront fruits and creams but lacks some depth across the nose and palate.

    -translucent med gold
    -lanolin faintly oxidized caramel
-med/med+ acidity gives a lemony tang on the finish, med- weight focused citrus and nutty butterscotch, moderately long finish
-this is more advanced than what I would expect, despite this possible flaw it shows impressive complexity and still retains some cut
