December 31, 2023 - Interesting pure Sangiovese elevated in amphor. Dark red with brownish hue on the rim. Balsamic, dried leaves, tea leaves and plum. Mineral clay notes and some dry blood. If served blind essentially impossible to tell it apart from a Barbaresco. Very nice wine, earthy character supported by good acidity. I think the wine is ready to be consumed; store for no more than 5 years.

January 28, 2021 - I don’t know much about this wine but would guess it’s naturally made with its spritzy acidity and fresh and tingly cherry fruit. The finish is where it grabs you with a wonderful intensity and complexity with notes of minerals, orange zest and tangy cherry spice. A fun, well-made wine that needs plenty of air at this stage. 91+
