  November 25, 2011 - Not a Bordeaux I would recommend. Not bad right out of the bottle dominated by earthy minerals with a somewhat sharp acid finish. In our case this wine oxidized quite rapidly, so I would expect it to be undrinkable the next day. There are plenty other choices in this price range that surpass this one in both balance and complexity.

  October 3, 2010 - This went well with steak the 1st night but not so good with burgers the next. I made sure I gave the wine ample time to breath (4 hours in an open bowl) but it still doesn't work for me. I really have not found a reasonably priced Bordeaux that works for me. Too tannic and bitter. The nose can be appealing but the tastes just don't work for me. This wine is better then some but not worth getting more.

  July 21, 2009 - Wow, better than expected. Memories from tasting at the Château in 2005 and 2006 flashes before my eyes. Nice nose with right bank touch with just a hint of new world ( read napa ) comes to mind. At 80% Merlot and 20% Cab it´s very fruit driven with nice integrated oak. Tannins almost gone.The time to drink my remaining bottles is now, and I will enjoy it.
