  December 24, 2023 - Weiter gereift seit der letzten Flasche - immer noch voller, jetzt runderer Körper. Familie Knipser bzw. Werner Knipser war einst deutscher Rotwein-Pionier und nun Legende. Wunderbar rote Frucht und Leder mit mittlerem Holz (zumindest für meinen Geschmack sehr schön eingebunden und dezent). - Zum Wohl die Pfalz! - Eine quälende Frage bleibt: wann öffnet man die letzte Flasche im Keller?! :-)

  This wine has significantly aged and the taste has improved since my last encounter in 2020 (see CT note).

  December 30, 2021 - Very fruity, cherry, cassis, prune. A touch of oak and leather. Great pleasure to drink. Can be drunken pnp, there was no noticeable development after opening the bottle until three hours later when the bottle was finished.

  November 14, 2021 - Fresh and fruity. Acidity a bit too dominant at the end, drowning out tannins a bit. But a well rounded wine !
