November 16, 2019 - Medium ruby color with garnet rim. Nose of cherry with forest floor. Needs a 30 minute decant to expose complexity of aroma. Palate exhibits dusty cherry, raspberry, and baking spices (cinnamon, all spice) and continuing forest floor. Fruit flavors are somewhat muted. Good acidity, and tannin but a short finish. Not near the quality of their Monopole, and a bit pricey for what it is.

February 23, 2019 - Medium to dark garnet. Needed to open for about 20-30 min to start showing violets, cassis, black cherry. Pretty linear and straight forward bitter chocolate dusted red fruits, decent acidity and long tannic finish. Not sure if the price:quality ratio is really in sync.
