Community Tasting Notes 5

June 18, 2017 - Youthful appearance, glad to say it develops itself quite well over the last couple of years, the nose are more open, offering dried herbs, minerals along with some tend to dried dark fruits, alluring! On the other hand, the palate is quite pure and simple, a mouthful of sweet peppery fruits, still a touch tannic! It is I believe at some point of its life now, but no rush to drink! You need a bit of food to make the experience more interesting! A nice bottle of wine without doubt!

February 2, 2015 - Judging what I read here, I expect nothing from my bottle! But I found myself very lucky today that I got a very nice bottle of claret! Still young in my view, deep ruby in colour! Rich nose of pure dark fruits! And a hint of flowery notes, a beauty! Rich fruits on the palate! Quite sweet and full! Smooth with a all round finish! A surprise surprise! Surely will last a few more years in my view! Storage is key!

February 10, 2012 - This bottle was a wedding present and was meant to be drunk on our 10th anniversary. Well, the wine was clearly in its final stage, but once it had about 2 hours to breathe it opened up and gave its final gasp. Hints of cassis, licorice and rich fruit led into a delicate palate of great complexity and an oh so smooth finish with the silky remnants of an old body. CLearly past its prime, this must have been a lovely wine a few years ago.

November 30, 2007 - better than the prior bottle a good bordeaux table wine. Good balance, low acidity, some of the usual vanilla and cedar on opening but matured to a medium structured red fruit. Enjoyable

November 22, 2007 - Good bordeaux nose. Palate of plum and cherry, but past its prime. Drink up if you have any left.
