May 9, 2021 - A young and fruity style. Herbs and menthol. Not a style everyone likes.

February 26, 2021 - Nose with sangiovese freshness, condensed red fruits, som fattynes although not jammy at all. M- body, still feeling of acidity and tannins.

February 23, 2020 - Nice purity and good Montalcino character, not convincing and slightly short on the finish. Easy drinking and charming, ready now.
Medium to light bodied, I quite enjoyed it for that clean reflection of the place and would happily drink again.

June 10, 2019 - We honestly did not care much for this wine. It did not really charm us and seemed very one dimensional.

October 31, 2018 - Popped and poured after consuming a disappointing 2013 Fattoria del Pino Rosso di Montalcino, but I've let this sit in the glass for two hours before getting to this note. Here the aromas are a bit farm wine like, showing some manure, rotten fallen figs and apples, and bits of gravel paste. The palate enters medium bodied, nice texture, pleasing acidity, with soft flavors of cherry and forest floor. Perhaps a touch of mushroom. Overall, pleasing in the mouth. The finish, even while just first swallowing, goes back to the farm, showing some old wet, horsey soil, old fruit, mild acidity and tannins, and overall a sensation of a dirty barn. This is certainly more interesting and compelling than the Fattoria del Pino, but it's also not showing the refinement I seek in top Rosso di Montalcino. Something about it doesn't feel clean.
