September 16, 2021 - Fully developed. Rather pinched fruit. I didn't find the tannins at all velvety nor the acidity pleasant. Maybe a lesser bottle?

October 18, 2020 - Pronounced black fruits, mainly fresh but with a slight hint of raisin. Violets and dried herbs, smoke, meat, slight earthiness and touches of vanilla and clove too.
The (14%) alcohol is almost seamless and the tannins are huge but soft and ripe and work perfectly with food, the finish goes on and on. -

February 5, 2019 - Very smooth and nicely balanced with velvety tannins. Was looking for a bit more complexity, but the mouthful of cherry and plum flavours was perfectly agreeable really.
