April 20, 2024 - Un meursault très bien équilibré. Il est dans une bonne fenêtre de consommation. L’acidité est bien balancée et la puissance encore au rendez-vous. Les saveurs d’agrumes sont délicates.

May 7, 2023 - (from memory) Pale gold, acacia flower, lemon and butterscotch on the nose, tart but full palate of citrus, almond paste, medium acidity with wet stone notes, finishes with a touch of wood, burnt butter, orchard fruits and orange blossom

January 27, 2023 - Straightforward, though classic, Les Tillets Meursault from Javillier, ready to go today. White golden in appearance. Nose - shy - brings citrus, green & yellow pome fruits, a vague whiff of yellow & white flowers & nuts. Palate is decidedly medium-bodied, still fresh though acidity on the low calm side, somewhat linear in its pureness, elegant but with a fairly low level of complexity, flavours v much echoing nose with lemon & a distinct minerality throughout, chalky & carefully delicate brief finish. Fine glass!
