May 30, 2019 - Better the second day. Very ascidic and not very good.

May 28, 2019 - Super dark color in glass. Muted nose. Lots of ripe fruit on palate with vague varietal character. Medium/full bodied. 14.5% alcohol does not intrude. Rather straight forward - no Rutherford Dust or Claret character but very New World. Decent but I would not buy again at $19.99.

May 9, 2019 - Fruit and wood, wood and fruit, wood, fruit, and then more wood and fruit...and not much else. Reasonably well structured.

March 16, 2019 - $21 in the MT mountains. Gobs of fruit. Light tannin and acid. It's just okay. Will not buy again. Not flawed in a technical sense but not very well made.

March 11, 2019 - When I first opened this it had a pretty nose to it.
I was somewhat optimistic that I might have found a good everyday bottle with some substance to it.
I will say that this is a wine that it's good for one glass but the style will wear on you if you have more than that.
It's just one of those modern day big over extracted wines that i think appeal to the real none wine drinker.
It's not bad but not my style unless i wanted a big overly extracted wine. Think of it as the meiomi of Cabs.

Update: okay I originally had this Friday night. I used a pump to seal it and had a glass tonight; fully expecting it be either bad or the same. I was surprised to see that it was a little better than when I opened it.
Not much but it seemed less extracted.
I wanted to be fair to the wine so that was why I updated my notes.
Probably a good 85 which is not bad for a 15.99 bottle.
Probably needs some time to integrate everything .
