  August 20, 2021 - Very pleasantly surprised by how good this was for the money. A lighter, more lifted style than the traditional Rioja. Less oak, quite subtle and well balanced. Good value.

  April 29, 2021 - This is great value from The Wine Society and ideal for a midweek bottle when you don't want to spend excessively. It's versatile and suits a whole range of meat based dishes, lamb, chicken, pork, etc. Soft and mellow, lots of plummy fruit. Good.

  January 7, 2021 - Late decision to open to accompany turkey pie, so just poured straight away. Immediately impressive. Plenty of upfront damson fruit, rich and smooth. Also good value for money from The Wine Society here in the UK.
