April 26, 2022 - Serious concentration and power here -- very good for it's level. Still quite youthful and while its approachable/fun, clearly has more in reserve. Upside from here.

April 26, 2022 - Jadot Bonnes Mares and Gevrey CSJ 96/97/02/03 + (Hughes House - Chicago IL): Lots of orchard fruit from start-to-finish with faint stone fruit hints, overall good concentration and volume, with very good harmony right now. Lots of depth throughout, this brightens up nicely middle forward. From en La Richarde.

September 11, 2021 - A Few Wines Tasted at Lisa and Sheldon's Engagement Party (The Krengels - Bannockburn IL): Small glass, brief note. Lots of orchard fruit with some faint tropical hints, this has impressive density, and could fool many people into thinking it is Grand Cru. Fleshy start, minerally finish with good+ length. Very good now.

July 28, 2019 - Day 2 notes.
Today, this is absolutely dynamite. Beautiful pale gold liquid with a restrained nose of delicate white flowers and crushed rocks. Lush, expressive flavors of mango and apricot wrapped around an intense core of limestone and balanced acidity. There is a judicious use of oak.
Yesterday, this was all about the minerality and acid, yet the potential for this wine was already clear. Today proved it. We’ll buy more.1 person found this helpful Comment -

November 11, 2018 - Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy/Champagne Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Tasting, brief note. Excellent density and richness. Slightly brooding in the middle with a complex, long finish. Great 1er Cru. From the "en la Richarde" lieu-dit.
