March 14, 2015 - Dark dark red, verging on brown. Overtly fruit driven, but also apparent cream, walnut, heavy oak, cocoa and coffee on the nose, and berries, touch of cedar, black pepper on the palate. Surprisingly low tannins, feels lush in a somewhat strange way, especially for a syrah. Interesting, will probably be markedly different in 3-5 years.

November 10, 2014 - From very young vines (about 5 years old) this is impressive. It needs air in this stage of it's life. Good nose with sweetness an cacao. Tannic palate, little young and a little over powering.
