  March 13, 2020 - Intriguing deep orange/pink color.
  
  A bit tight knit and reductive upon opening but blossoms out with some 30 minutes of decanting. Layered, savory nose showing dried stone fruit, fresh peach, bruised apples, bitter orange, potpourri, honey, spice box and a whiff of VA.
  
  Bordering on full bodied with bright acidity and just a little bite from the tannins. The stated 14% abv is well integrated. Very good intensity to the flavors that follows that bruised fruit character with notes of spice and bitter citrus. Long finish with a nice little tang from the VA.
  
  Really enjoyable today and will most likely gain some more complexity with aging.

  November 16, 2018 - Nose with floral notes, on palate herbs, complex, unusual, but courageous, not mainstream. Nice finish.
