September 25, 2022 - I let this super Tuscan decant for approx an hour. After a quick set of tears this wine showed aromas of dark red fruits, liquorice & vanilla. On the pallet this wine was super smooth with a nice finish with very little tannins. This was a super wine that I would highly recommend & certainly buy again.

June 18, 2020 - The wine looks ruby colored. There is heavy sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis), prune, forest floor, medium toast and fur. The body is full. The wine has coarse texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity.

March 23, 2020 - Nice earth and dark cherry nose, but palate is disjointed and harsh. Maybe too young. Will retaste tomorrow. For a few dollars more, Felsina Berardenga Riserva is a far superior wine.

February 24, 2020 - Blackberries, sweet cherries, cocoa, smoke, a flash of tar, a hint of fennel. Long and pleasant aftertaste. Gentle tannins. Should stay in good shape for another 3 years and probably longer.
