December 27, 2023 - Dark opaque wine prepping you for the full bodied black fruit flavors with aggressive tannins. Delicious wine with some hard robust cheese.

July 1, 2023 - Decanted 1 hour. Pairing it with an excellent bio cow steak from the farmers market in singen. Deep purple color. Mediterranean flavors like olives, herbs, meat, anise appear after the plum fruit, nice nose. Med acidity, full body, high alochol, med flavor intensity, dry tannins and med finish. Nice meaty flavor, a bit of a warm mouth cause of the high alcohol, but I like these dry green tannins. The finish is still a bit watery and alcohol is a bit overwhelming so that puts me a little bit off. Otherwise great 👍

April 22, 2023 - This needed a lot of air to get rid of the weird nose. No one else remarked on the nose so maybe it was just me but until about the one hour make I really didn't like this. Then the nose changed, lots of strawberries and red fruits. Ok mouthfeel and finish. Others liked this way more than me but I think it was a decent wine, given enough air, but I wouldn't buy again. Obviously, I don't agree with the high scores given it by critics.

March 22, 2023 - Gritty and you can feel the alcohol on the back end but even days later the body, bouquet and red berries are pronounced and balanced. Pairs well with steak. No harsh tannins.
