July 9, 2023 - Stylish nose of ripe yellow fruit, light blossom and fruit cocktail, verging on pineapple, with a vanillin and slightly toasty edge. Perfect weight in the mouth, concentrated and juicy but with a light touch. A slight hint of grip and spice on the finish. Well executed and drinking now.

January 7, 2020 - 2017 (mostly) Cote de Beaune Premier Crus vol 1 (Margeaux Brasserie): Nose: The nose is tight and a bit reduced at first, but as it peels away it shows attractive fruits of red apples, quince, peaches, ginger, custard, vanilla, toast, and a touch of oak. There is good depth and it is wound just a little tight at the moment.

Taste: The feel is Medium/full bodied with mouthwatering, medium+ acidity. The feel is beautifully textured and balanced with red apples, quince, peaches, custard, vanilla, and toast notes.

Overall: This is an excellent young, Chassagne premier cru. There is very good depth across the nose and palate that ends with a long, lasting finish. It feels like this will be pretty open at an earlier point and feels like it can get better when some of the rough edges smooth out.

January 7, 2020 - 2017 White Burgundy Dinner (Brasserie Margeaux - Chicago IL): Reduction took 5 minutes to fade. Plenty of ripe apple with some peach and sweet spice. Very good density. The richest and fleshiest of the flight, and that's Morgeot coming through. Very good now, with some further upside.
