September 23, 2023 - DIAM 5. Pale yellow upon pouring. A bit oak heavy in the nose for my taste. Vanilla, toasty wood, cinnamon sticks are at the fore, especially as the wine warms up and takes on air. The more air it gets, the more oak wafts out of the glass. Also smells of warm citrus fruits and apples. Acidity is medium, body is medium minus. Tastes just like it smells. Finish is pleasant. Complexity is middling.

Overall, this is pleasant, nice, drinkable wine. I don't hate it. I don't love it either. It's fine. For any region other than Burgundy, the price of >$80 per bottle is ludicrously expensive for the merely adequate experience that it provides. But for Burgundy, it's what's expected. I wouldn't say no if offered a glass, but I won't be seeking this out myself.

Day 2- a bit muted, lost some vibrancy, even more woody. Doesn't speak well of aging capability.

June 20, 2023 - Nose is elegant with mulberries, peaches, vanilla. Medium acidity, some minerality, delicate fruits, a touch of alcohol, vanilla and medium length. Nothing terribly exciting but textbook Meursault village and typical Bouchard - modern in style. Enjoyable.

April 23, 2023 - Medium bodied, gold colored, medium acidity. Green apple, pear, some ripe pineapple, a slight bitterness to it with toasted almonds and gravel on the finish. Great with Alaskan king salmon. Drinking well thought could go another year or two.

January 27, 2023 - Medium body, mature golden colour. Charming orchard fruits, flowers and spices’ box aroma. Creamy peaches palate and mineral finish of good length. Very attractive wine, complex, rich and well-structured but perfectly balanced, soft acidity. Food friendly, well pairing to onion soup. Open about half hour ahead. Serve 12ºC - 14ºC. Drink now and the next couple years.

December 20, 2022 - Somewhat disappointing, especially when tasting next to the Mt. Eden estate Chard (also from 2017). A bit thin and not showing the classic power of a Meursault. Perhaps a bit past its prime.
