December 16, 2023 - 2nd time trying it this year and 3rd bottle from a case of 12 to very similar impressions each time. The wine opened with pretty white flowers, ripe stone fruits, honey, lemon curd and sea mineral/chalk. The palate showed equal richness and roundness as the nose, reflecting the ripeness of the crop. Finished off chalky and stony. A good expression of Ramonet that checked all the boxes. Will let the rest of them hang around the cellar for a while longer.

August 7, 2023 - (SYP) PNP. Drunk over 4 hours
A nose of cream, ripe pineapples, seashell, Chinese plums and pears. Rich and ripe on the palate but a bit clumsy and lacks freshness. I've yet to come across a 2017 Ramonet that I like.

January 1, 2023 - Plenty of spearmint to the aroma along with pure white peach and some struck match. The palate is full, pure, silky and rich. It has power but feels weightless and the finish resonates with lemon and spice flavours.

Even I like Ramonet and 2017 this was not convincing. Not precise, less saline as usually. 90
