September 18, 2020 - Deep, dark garnet red color, but translucent. Full, rich, velvety mouthfeel. Flavors of raspberry and wild strawberry. Some earth and forest floor. Seems rather heavy in texture, although tannins are very light. High alcoholic heat is evident, but not distracting. Pleasant enough. Good match with rich, red meat dishes.
