March 31, 2024 - This is very clearly a very good bottle of wine but it is not really my style of Chardonnay. It is very linear and crisp, almost reminiscent of Chablis. I tend to prefer, the richer style of puligny. Nose of fresh cut grass and lemon, palette of hay, lemon, and green apple. The palette benefited from about 45mins of air and became a little richer and oiler. Flavors resembled the nose with hay and citrus dominating with some herbal notes. Some slight tartness and chalkiness on the finish which was quite pleasant.

Editing this because on the second day this had actually improved and was much rounder and richer. Still has the tart crispness but feels much more balance. I think I’ll still wait a couple years to open my last bottle but would probably decant it.

March 7, 2024 - Pop and pour. Slightly premoxed, which ruined this for me.

August 8, 2023 - Wow. Lovely intense Chassagne! Lemon, soft reduction, a hint of honey and vanilla cream. On the palate: lovely acidity and density. Still solid on days 2 and 3 open. Far and away best btl yet and drinking very well now.
