    February 15, 2024 - Cherry
    Generous midpalate
    Juicy
    Softened tannins at this point

July 26, 2023 - So many good things here but all on day 2! Day one was polished but tight and monolithic- nothing out of place but no verve or character. On day two the deep savoury brothy perfume blooms from the glass as soon as poured, there is minerality and graphite along the spine of the dark fruit- wonderful acidity and long finish. This is very complete as an experience- but I’d never have guessed yesterday. Reminiscent of some really good Bordeaux in structure nose and complexity, but with added Italian vivaciousness.

November 5, 2022 - Again very pure fruit, spicy, grippy tannins. A little tight on the palate, good acidity, again spicy. Very long. 92-94

November 5, 2022 - Decanter Fine Wine Encounter (The Landmark, London): Meaty, savoury, yeast extract, black plum, gamey. Medium plus intensity acidity and tannins which are silky textured and drying, fruit present, all persists long. Quite polished. Hmm.

April 27, 2022 - Ft Wayne Dinner: Tannic, light body, ok fruit, tasted with other wines, drank with loin lamb chops and filet mignon, might try again.
