June 6, 2019 - concur with previous tasting notes, except I find some heat on the finish that is somewhat less than desirable. Interesting tangy tangerine flavors. Still a remarkable bargain at $3.99!

March 28, 2019 - Especially considering the closeout price at GO, this is an amazingly precise wine that shows true varietal character—aromatics are mature, tending toward the petrol smells of Riesling, but the palate is bone dry with stony minerality , citrus and apple flavors and a slight grapefruit tinged finish. Distinctive and very well made.

Cabfrancophile's note describes this pretty well for my palate as well: medium-plus weight but dry and with enough acid for balance, mild stone fruit and tropical notes, a little bit of a sense of minerality. Simple but food-friendly and satisfying. We don't go through whites very regularly, but I still went back for a handful more...maybe not enough, though.

February 16, 2019 - Best QPR in ages at $4 from Grocery Outlet. I'm always willing to take a shot on non-ageworthy whites under Stelvin closure that are several vintage. This is the reason why: they last, unlike whites under cork!
This had that fascinating Riesling-like petrol character that Grenache Blanc often displays, along with mildly tropical fruit. Great nose, high end. Fresh stone fruit, minerally palate, simple, yet effective, well-balanced.
Need to get more if GO hasn't sold out yet . . . .
