  November 11, 2007 - This is a very good wine. It's drinking well right now. nice structure, velvet nose, some berry, firm leather follow through. very interesting wine - reminds me of a Dunn at 1/4 the price. Note that web site has changed to www.ilonawine.com. This is a bargain.

  May 24, 2007 - Beautiful Howell Mountain Bordeaux blend. Aromas of black berries, leather, earth, spice and cocoa. Deep and complex moutain fruit with well structured tannins and long finish.

  February 9, 2006 - Dark purple color. A nice nose with blackberries, raspberries, dried herbs, a bit of chocolate and a hint of cherries. Medium to full body with solid, ripe tannins and very good acidity. Mouthfilling berries on the palate with a bit of spicy, toast oak. Lingering finish that starts with spicy blackberries that slowly change into cherries. Very nice.
