January 19, 2007 - A pleasant reminder on how good the '97 vintage was. Still dark garnet with only a hint of clear edge. Wine still possess a lot of fruit (cherry, blackberry) in the nose with a nice hint of spicy oak. Integrated tannins deliver a nice round mouthfeel and exellent balance. Long, lingering finish. Enough tannins to drink over the next 2 or 3 years.
