November 5, 2023 - Dark fruits, leather, and earthiness on the nose. Intense ripe dark fruit, peppery spice, leather, stone, herbal and meaty notes on the palate. Medium body, medium plus acid, moderate tannins, and a medium to long finish.

Maybe first wine was so good that it made this one not shine (and wine was not decanted). Dark red color. On nose, funk, blackberry, tobacco, saline and bacon fat. August 13, 2023 - 60 minute decant. Nose of dried cherries, raspberry, and red leather. Palate delivers a drive of powerful juicy red fruit, peppery earth, wet stones, and slate. Firm, long tannins on the finish with bay leaf, thyme, savory, and clay.
