  January 22, 2022 - Aged Tempranillos from Rioja and Ribeira - Virtual wine tasting (Skype): Wine 4 of 6. Medium to dark garnet colour. Good, ripe red and dark fruit, spices, liquorice, and herbal notes, with medium-level acidity, ripe, partly resolved tannin and good length of the herbal finish. Well-structured. (88+) Equally enjoyable on day two. (88+) Very pure and precise red cherry fruit and intense spice on day three, with a lightly dry finish. (89)

  March 7, 2019 - The wine was medium garnet in colour and offered ripe strawberry, raisins, coffee, spices, vanilla, clove, coconut and roasted notes as well as meaty and mild balsamic notes on the nose and palate, with good acidity and average to good length. The wine was mildly bitter and the alcohol felt higher than 12.5% ABV, both without being disturbing. The wine only had average concentration, but it was smooth and fairly balanced, and it became even smoother paired with rack of Iberico pig. A solid Termpranillo if you can find it at €18 and below. At €22 and above there would be options offering better value.
