April 12, 2024 - Prob my fave vineyard in OR. Everything that comes off it is excellent, no matter who makes it!

June 23, 2023 - More dense than 2015 and 2016 vintages from what I remember; Opens with laser focused coffee beans and dark chocolate notes which slowly faded over two hours of drinking into Bing cherry and candied plum notes that were not as strong as the coffee notes; Moderate length and not overly complex; Not sure if this one will evolve much over time but four more bottles will tell for sure

April 6, 2023 - Awesome! Pleasant and vibrant nose of cherries, violets and some minerality; throw in the scent of an ancient text collecting dust in the corner of an olde English university and your picture becomes clearer. The palate echoes and adds some baking spices, all supported by fine tannins with ample and persistent acidity. (This wine can still run for years!) Excellent density of flavors. Initial attack is a touch on the delicate side compared to the 2015 and 2016 vintages (and not in a negative way), but finishes big and spicy with decent length - the whole palate is well engaged! Shea never dissaponts.

December 28, 2022 - After two corked bottles, this was a relief....no off odors.

The wine was disappointing. Light red cherry and some earth tones on the nose. More of the same with light tannin and acidity. Pleasant with medium finish but I have come to expect more from Shea wines.
